As I mentioned in other areas of the Little Hearts Big Purpose blog, I wanted to start a blog as a means to connect with, learn from and encourage/inspire other mothers and parents in this journey of raising children.
What you will find here are those things that I am passionate about. The things I would chat with you about over coffee - parenting, homeschooling, wellness, living with purpose and faith.
Many times, it can seem like the things we do as parents with and for our children are small and insignificant - playing a game, cleaning up a mess, making a sandwich, teaching yet another life lesson in the midst of a sibling rivalry and so on. Whatever the case may be, these are big moments in the lives of little ones. Not to mention opportunities for character building in our own lives.
They hear every word that we speak, they see every action that we take, and they are effected by every decision we make. Therefore, we must be intentional in parenthood. We are not just raising our children, we are preparing a generation. If you are a Christian, you are making disciples.
Yes, our children may be LITTLE, but each and every child was created with a BIG purpose. It is our job as parents to help them realize that in this journey called life. What an amazing "job".
