Indian Summer

We've definitely reached winter here in the Midwest. Last week, however, offered an amazing surprise. Temperatures rose significantly for a couple of days. The sun brightened spirits.

On one of those beautiful sunlit days, we grabbed some jackets and hats and headed for the lake one last time until spring.

The girls loved having the sand between their fingers. The sun beamed on our faces. It was perfect. Beautiful nature. Making memories.
